Caciotta del fermano | Accommodation details
Caciotta is a cylindrical shape with a dark ivory coloured crust (with a brown colouring if walnut leaves have been used). Made with cow's milk or added in varying amounts of sheep and/or goat's milk solely produced in the territory.
The composition is dense with some holes. The product is consumed fresh. The flavour, different depending on the area and varying depending on the length of time of maturity, goes from sweet and sour, from mellow, to savory.
