HEADQUARTERS AND COLLECTIONS PRESERVED

The municipal library, reopened to the public in November 2011, it collects publications of local interest, of geography, of history and of modern fiction. Available to the user there are encyclopedias and dictionaries for consultation in situ.

On the occasion of the reopening many titles of contemporary fiction were purchased too; in addition the library has recently received the Brunella Barfield donation of contemporary novels that once cataloged, will be made available to users.

Within the library is a rich Youth section dedicated to children and teenagers from 3 to 16 years old, with titles of very recent publication; the arrangement of the material by age groups allows the user a direct approach to the collections.

The library organizes monthly meetings to promote reading with creative workshops for children and teenagers.

Services: consultation, external loan, interlibrary loan, research, assistance in research, reproduction of documents, activities to promote reading, guided visits to the library for children and youths.

Mondays and Fridays 15.00 - 18.00

Closed during the months of July and August
