Starting from the seaside we particularly wish to point out the 25 km cycle route, which runs along all of the coast. Scuba diving, beach volley, surf, kite-surf, windsurf, water scooter... there are so many sport opportunities that can make a holiday in the Province of Fermo so much more fun.

The Province of Fermo can boast about sport excellencies such as the historical Sutor Montegranaro, which has frequently been in the Basket League A series; the Porto San Giorgio Tennis Club where Gianluigi Quinzi 2013 winner of the Junior category English Tournament at Wimbledon took his first steps; the Atletica Sangiorgese A series.

The territory has furthermore been chosen as a location for national and international tennis events such as the under 12 male & female International Tournament, which is organised by the Porto San Giorgio Tennis Club. In the surrounding area events are held such as The World Motocross event at the  “Monterosato” course of Fermo, The Cycling Gran Premio of Capodarco that launched many champions like Marco Pantani, The Giro d’Italia, which frequently went through Porto Sant'Elpidio, The Tirreno-Adriatico that passes through many towns of the Fermano area, The International Tournament of Beach Soccer at Porto Sant'Elpidio, The World Championships of International 2.4 metre class of sailing, also for Disabled Participants and The Piceno Marathon organised at Porto San Giorgio, and finally The Horse Riding Italian Championships at the Montegiorgio race-course, prestigious and vanguard structure on the international front.
